Taukiri is the backbone of Team Mana Supplies, setting the vision, standards, and foundations that the team builds on every day.

Born in Palmerston North and raised in Feilding, Taukiri attended Palmerston North Boys’ High School, Rotorua Boys’ High School, and Feilding Agricultural High School. From a young age, sport, competition, and hard work shaped who he is. Rugby played a big role in his life, representing teams including Te Kawau, Martin, Kaikōura, and the Pirates. Those years instilled discipline, resilience, and a deep respect for teamwork.

To support his whānau, Taukiri spent many years working in the meat works. It was tough, honest work, and it laid the foundation for his strong work ethic and no-nonsense approach. Alongside this, he committed himself to personal and professional growth, throwing himself into learning, development, and self-improvement. That journey slowly but deliberately led him into entrepreneurship.

Today, Taukiri is the proud owner of Team Mana Supplies. As CEO and Print Room Manager, he leads from the front, combining strategy with hands-on involvement in production. He is passionate about quality, consistency, and doing things properly, ensuring every job that leaves the workshop reflects the values of the business and the people behind it.

For Taukiri, Team Mana Supplies is more than a company. It is about building something lasting, supporting whānau, and creating opportunities through hard work, integrity, and pride in what you produce.

Kiri Williams

Born and raised in Palmerston North, Kiri met Taukiri at 17, and more than two decades later they are raising three beautiful children and now daughter In-laws!

Kiri began her working life on the checkouts at The Warehouse and Pak’nSave, followed by hospital laundry work, before pursuing her dream of becoming a hairdresser.

After years in the industry and owning salons, she moved into social work with her iwi and community, eventually founding her own social services.

Now full-time at Team Mana Supplies, Kiri leads marketing, sales, and customer service, driving growth, solving problems, and keeping everything moving forward.

When things get tough, she gets it done… and if it gets really tough, she hands it to Taukiri.

Power:
Relentless Momentum – Gets things done under pressure (and knows when to delegate to the boss).

Weakness: Must resist sleep ins

Graphic Artist

Georgia Holland

Ngāi Tahu

Ōraka Aparima

Graduating with her qualification in Graphic Design, Georgia was raised in Nelson and now lives in Christchurch with her partner Nick and their adopted cat. She loves heading home to Nelson over the holidays to spend time with whānau and never misses her annual trips to Wānaka with her close friend group.

Known around the team as G-Girl, Georgia is reliable, open-minded, and always willing to give new things a go, even when it pushes her outside her comfort zone.

This year, her focus is on increasing her design hours, deepening her Toi Māori practice, and growing her Te Reo Māori.

Power:
Creative Manifestation – Brings ideas to life through bold design, curiosity, and constant growth.

Sales and Customer Care

Reece Williams

Ngāi Tahu + Muaūpoko

Nõ Wairewa, Horowhenua

Born and raised in Palmerston North, Reece spent his teenage years split between Spain and Palmerston North. He attended Palmerston North Boys’ High School and played rugby for College Old Boys before heading to Perth, where he worked as a hairdresser and barber.

It was there he met his partner Tahlia, who is Noongar, and together they now have three very energetic (and very loud) sons, Taika, Buck, and Rieko.

Reece and his whānau moved home to be closer to family while raising their boys.

At Team Mana Supplies, Reece is learning the ropes of sales, marketing, and customer care, building genuine connections with customers along the way.

Outside of work, you will almost always find him on the golf course. Rain, wind, or shine, Reece is swinging a club.

Power:
Relationship Builder – Connects with people easily and never misses a shot, on or off the course.

Weakness - Can not handle silence

Production Support

Te Maia Manawatu

Ngāi Tahu + Muaūpoko

Nõ Kaikōura, Wairewa, Horowhenua

Te Maia works with Team Mana Supplies on a casual basis after school, on weekends, and during school holidays, earning money for clothes, snacks, and all the important teenage essentials.

In the workshop, you will find him heat pressing, trimming embroidery, counting, packing, folding, and immediatly taking over the speaker with his 90s and 2000s R&B playlists… because he was raised right.

He is a Canterbury Development Touch representative and spends as much time as possible on the rugby field, chasing his dream of becoming an All Black.

Currently attending Rangiora High School, Te Maia is hoping to move to Shirley Boys’ High School to further pursue his rugby goals.

Power:
High-Output Hustle – Moves fast, works hard, and controls the playlist.

Weakness - People changing his music

Production Support

Te Koha Manawatu

Ngāi Tahu + Muaūpoko

Nõ Kaikōura, Wairewa, Horowhenua

Te Koha supports production alongside Te Maia when he is available, stepping in during busy periods and family emergencies.

Outside of Team Mana Supplies, he works as a groundskeeper and landscaper at a rest home in Amberley, balancing work, training, and helping his whānau when he can.

Leaving school at 16 to pursue a tennis career, Te Koha has competed in two New Zealand Nationals, won the Māori Tennis Tournament in 2025, and played in multiple ITFs. With his sights set on going pro, he is steadily building his ranking and chasing the next level of competition.

Power:

Te Reo Māori

Finesi Fanene

Nõ Samoa

Finesi is our contracted Te Reo Māori teacher, guiding the Team Mana Supplies whānau through weekly classes that are practical, hilarious, and deeply grounded in connection. A Samoan extraordinaire with a gift for teaching Te Reo, she brings language to life in a way that strengthens how we communicate with each other and with our customers.

Finesi was Kiri and Taukiri’s kaiako at Te Wānanga and holds a special place in our story as Team Mana Supplies’ very first screen print customer. After a few years of only using vinyl she trusted us with the ink!

Five years on, she continues to support our business, and we are proud to now have her sharing her knowledge with our team.

With Finesi, learning is constant, laughter is guaranteed, and growth is always happening.

Avatar

Avatar is a vital part of the Team Mana Supplies school holiday crew, bringing energy, attitude, and an unmatched ability to locate snacks at any time of day.

When she’s at work, she keeps morale high, opinions strong, and the snack cupboard and Uber Eats accounts under constant surveillance.

Whether she’s supervising adults, striking a pose, or reminding everyone that she is definitely hungry, Avatar adds joy, chaos, and character to the workplace.

A future CEO in the making (or at least Head of Snacks), she takes her role very seriously.

Superpower:
Infinite hunger, elite snack detection, and unshakeable confidence.

Taika

Taika is a key member of the Team Mana Supplies school holiday crew, specialising in iPad operations, Paw Patrol monitoring, and continuous snack consumption.

When not eating, he can be found being interviewed for social media, confidently sharing his thoughts with the world, or taking charge of the whiteboard with important messages and drawings.

Taika brings big personality, big opinions, and even bigger snack breaks to the workplace, keeping the team entertained and on their toes at all times.

Superpower:
Unlimited screen stamina, expert Paw Patrol knowledge, and next-level whiteboard leadership.

Weakness - Carrying anything

History of TMS

Team Mana Supplies began in 2018 with humble beginnings, making piupiu necklaces from our garage in Aranui, Christchurch. What started as a small whānau-led kaupapa quickly grew into supplying full-sized piupiu for kapa haka groups, and from there, naturally expanded into merchandise and apparel.

As the demand grew, so did our skills, evolving into heat transfers, screen printing, embroidery, and digital printing. Our workspace grew alongside us, from working out of a bedroom, to the garage, to a rented cabin, and eventually into our own workshop. What began as self-employment has grown into a fully fledged company with staff, contracts, health and safety systems, and a strong commitment to protecting our environment.

At every stage, our growth has been guided by hard work, learning as we go, and staying true to our values.

Every person in this photo, past and present, has played a part in shaping Team Mana Supplies.

Our growth is not the result of one person or one moment, but the collective effort, time, care, and commitment of everyone who has worked alongside us.

Each contribution, big or small, has helped build the foundation of this company.
